Do What Makes You Happy:
The Path to Bliss

This whole month I will be working on, and writing about, how to turn our intentions into goals. When you look at yourself now, what do you see? What do you feel? Are you satisfied with the life you have created? Are you doing things that make you happy? If not, why? First, look at the picture to your left. I decided to have my picture under this sign as a reminder. It's a perfect mantra for creating bliss! Live simply. Breathe deeply. Sweat often. Those three things help to construct bliss. I bet when all three are applied you are doing something that makes you happy. And if there is anything that connects all people on this planet, it is happiness.

Your job and my job this month is to do things that makes us happy. I'm not talking about being selfish. I'm talking about loving yourself and taking care of yourself. When you care for yourself and approach your intentional life with authentic actions you will radiate more happiness and receive more bliss. Right now, turn off the noise. Turn off other people's opinions. Breathe into yourself, and answer these questions:

1. What will bring more simplicity to my life? What can I add or take away from my life to make it more simple and stress free?

2. What forms of movements do I want to bring into my life, so that I can sweat and have more fun in my body?

3. What mantra will I live by this month? Example: I am investing in my health because I am worth it!

These questions are a great start for craving out a pathway for your goals and most authentic life. Live with intention. Act courageously toward creating and generating bliss. That's what I plan to do all month and I want you to join me. 

I kicked off my pathway toward bliss by participating in the Dream Catcher Yoga event, called Yoga, Coffee, and the Sea. This event was put on by She Is Beautiful, an organization that will later host a 5k and 10k run (which I intend on joining). This organization is all about empowering women to embrace their health, worth and beauty. 
And that's what I did today. I embraced myself! 

Yoga, Coffee, and the Sea also symbolizes happiness for me. Yoga has been the one thing that has never left through all my changes in life. Coffee is just wonderful, but it's more than that. Coffee represents family, friendship, conversation, comfort, and concentration. The sea is where I feel grounded, at home, and playful. I decided that my biggest goals for July are to listen to my intuition and do what makes me happy. For me, that means I will work toward another figure competition, practice and teach yoga, write a blog bi-weekly, and disconnect from social media for 12 hours twice a week. My goals reflect living simply, breathing deeply and sweating often. How about yours?

    I am a new mother who has her hands full! I juggle not just my coaching business, but I am also a full time educator. I also teach yoga in the Bay Area, and I mentor first generation college students.
